What Our Clients Are Saying...
David Trunk and The Benefit Coordinators has been assisting the Lawrenceville VA for several years now. He presents retirement sessions for groups of personnel and then assists employees one on one. David has even helped one of employees with a family matter with her ex-spouse that was also a federal employee. He does training which we consider outstanding.
I met David Trunk, with The Benefit Coordinators, 5 years ago at the Post Office. He told us about what he does with The Benefit Coordinators and I asked him to come to my house and review my benefits. He sat down with my husband and myself. David explained my benefits including why my FEGLI had gone up so much in cost. We secured a 20 Year term policy’s that keep the cost level as long as we will need it.
Recently, I met with David again and we completed my retirement packet sent by the Postal Service. He presented option which helped my TSP generate a life time pay monthly check that is much better than what TSP program offered me.
Thanks to The Benefit Coordinators and John Sanders for the support of our Marines. The military benefits briefings, by your organization, have been right on target and expertly integrated. Our personnel report The Benefit Coordinators are both informative and knowledgeable in their military financial welfare.
Our Marines face complex challenges, and these keen insights are invaluable in preparing them for their future.
We appreciate your support and visits.
On behalf of the NASS Georgia Field Office, I wanted to say thank you for the training on Federal Benefits. Having a relatively new federal staff, the information concerning what exact benefits are available to federal employees as well as those with more years in the years.
Offering the one-on-one personal consultation provided employees with an opportunity to pursue questions about their personal situation. It also provided an opportunity to discover how to coordinate and maximize their federal benefits, as well as identifying things that may be overlooked.
It was a pleasure having The Benefit Coordinators give a presentation to our Union Members at one of our union meetings. They went over FEGLI, CSRS, FERS, and TSP and TSP and answered questions we had. They were also able to sit down with us individually and go over our individual situations. It is a good feeling to have a benefits trainer that we can contact for questions throughout our career and into retirement.
I wanted to say thank you for your participation in our Regional Fall School.
Many of our Branch Presidents and Shop Stewards had the opportunity to meet with you and explore information on your supplemental retirement and short-term disability products.
On behalf of the federal managers Association (FMA) chapter 396, and FMA region 2, please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation were supporting the FMA Region 2 Conference on 5-6 September.
Your presentation, The Road to a Happy Retirement, was outstanding. By any measure you are a very effective speaker. The subject matter was extremely relevant to the attendees and provided them with very beneficial information and ideas that will undoubtedly put them on the right path to retirement.
Michael Vining of The Benefit Coordinators was very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as patient with our questions and explaining all aspects to our satisfaction. His recommendation provides us with a more consistent understandable means to meet our future retirement needs.
He is very helpful to educate me to understand very clearly about my benefits. He is very knowledgeable to explain how changes will benefit me and be better for me personally for my future retirement income needs.
THANK YOU!! At first I was upset with the material that was presented to me, but you prevented me from making a HUGE financial mistake by retiring too early on an income that would not have been enough for my lifestyle needs.
After being informed by your agent of the great options The Benefit Coordinators has to offer, I am in full agreement that the product I selected will serve my interests best and is very cost effective. Michael Vining was a tremendous help in molding my future plans.
Melinda helped me understand the pension formula to determine, if taking a position, would be worth it. The opportunity required a move to Texas but offered $15k more a year in salary. Without her help, I might have missed a $600 per month difference in future pension amounts!
I had very little time to complete my retirement paperwork due to a medical condition that forced me to retire after 23 years. Melinda completed the retirement paperwork correctly and quickly which allowed me to retire ASAP.
She also discovered Thousands in TSP contributions unknown to me. I never contributed and did not know there were contributions on my behalf. That was a huge blessing and relief heading into retirement at 57 and not qualifying for the FERS Supplement.
I called Melinda at the urgency of my co-worker who works with her.
She reviewed my new hire packet, explained all the working benefits I have. We talked about my future plans for retirement. She was easy to understand and talk with, no matter how many questions I asked. She ensured I understood how my benefits work, now and when I reach retirement age.
